Kimberly Evans Hartsfeld

I went to UNC-G and received a BM in 1982. Worked @M/A/R/C while in college as an interviewer and a supervisor. Did a lot of traveling after college..hiking, camping. Worked as a waitress, retail sales manager, inventory control manager, small business accounting doing taxes ect.. Played in a 3 piece band doing original music for 2 years...played in coffee houses (early 90's), church, parties. Got married...2 kids ...got divorced...got remarried (12 years now) had another wonderful child. Spent a lot of time taking kids to different school activities like football, westling, band, band competitions, football games, fundraisers, soccer. Then there are church activities such as music, working with the youth, retreats, ect. Busy, busy, busy!!!

My favorite part of being at Page High School was all the music activities. I was the first chair flute player in the band and in the orchestra. I really loved all the band trips...like to Disney World in Florida. So many memories....some that can't be mentioned. Our favorite hangout after football games was the pizza place on Battleground Ave. I'll always remember the musicals we did at Page. Candide was a tough show. All the shows we did in high school led me to be involved in Livestock Theatre and Razz-Ma-Tazz for years after. Fun times.
