After high school, I began working in the business world while studying Early Childhood Education at Chabot College. I found my into retail management (a family tradition) which culminated with 8 years as a store manager for Cost Plus Imports. That's how I ended up in the Santa Rosa area. Then at age 35, after the birth of my son, I completely shifted gears and have spent the last 27 years self-employed working primarily as a Massage Therapist. Along the way, I also became certified as a Holistic Health & Nutrition Educator, and in 2008 I completed a 4 year program to become a Licensed Spiritual Counselor with United Centers for Spiritual Living. I am currently still doing massage part time and, for the past 4 1/2 years, I have been facilitating a seasonal 23-day Nutritional E-Cleanse Program (see my website). I also did a LOT of singing (mostly sacred music) for about 35 years and enjoyed that very much, but decided to retire from that last year.

I lived in Healdsburg for 7 years when I first moved to Sonoma County and then spent 11 years living on 16 acres in Forestville. Currently, I live & work in a rural area near a small town called Graton. My stone cottage is located on 3 acres & is surrounded by nature which I love.

My beloved son, Shaun, whom I adore is 28 years old. He lives in nearby Santa Rosa, has managed a local motorcycle shop for the past 8 years, and enjoys playing ice hockey, mountain biking, and creating/remastering digital music. And my 93 year old mom also lives nearby in Sebastopol and she remains my best friend & frequent companion which I treasure.
