He attended Indiana State University and graduated from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO, with a degree in Theology and from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelors Degree in Business.
Was married to Barbara and was the father of two children.
They ministered in several churches and he was the Pastor of Goshen Baptist Temple in Goshen, Indiana, for a few years before moving to Colorado.
He suffered a spinal cord injury in an accident in 2005 leaving him paralyzed. However, he was able to continue working until 2009 at which time he retired.
He is buried at Ft. Collins, Larimer County, Colorado.
